The variety of solar and weather conditions under which these paintings were made showcases the wide spectrum of colour and form possible through the cyanotype medium. We have introduced of use of sodium carbonate in our exposures which creates the vivid, playful bursts of yellow within the oxidisation.

The lustrous navy, silver and deep yellows of the enormous oyster shells that are found in the area were a strong undercurrent for the influence of colour in the paintings created at Oreilton Lagoon. Cloudy conditions in Melbourne provided pleasant, calm washes of colour that compliment paintings with more complex form.

Each piece is mounted on 300gsm acid free watercolour paper and is ready for framing. Price excludes shipping. Pieces can be shipped to most places worldwide. Please select EARTH SPUN LIGHT shipping option.
