I'm on my way to Kerry for a residency at Cill Rialaig, and I'm delighted to be spending some uninterrupted time on the edge of the Atlantic. I been exploring many avenues since starting at The Crawford, and it will be fantastic to have a large space to work out some of these ideas.

I have some processes I want to experiment with and some sunshine I want to capture. I know this means I will produce a lot of new works on paper and yupo. They will be the beginning of ideas, they might be unfinished, they may be raw, they might even be like nothing you have seen me make before… but they'll be very true to the moment they will be created in.

Would you be interested in receiving one of these new works? Hot off the press, right after my residency?

The surprise is part of it. You will not choose the piece. It will be revealed only when it arrives at your door. Each work will be between A6 and A5 in size. I love the idea that these works will travel around the country so soon after being created.

My hope is that the small 32e price will cover postage (standard post), and will cover the utility costs, fuel and food while I'm in Kerry. I will be limiting the number on offer to make sure the workload stays low, and sustainable.
